The Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum is located in the core of Guangming Science City, with a construction land area of 66000 square meters and a total construction area of 128300 square meters.<\/span> The venue architecture is inspired by natural forms, with a dark gray metal coat outlining the shape of a “spaceship”, and a U-shaped layout integrating future design with natural ecology.<\/span> 38 meter super high courtyard, reconstructing three-dimensional spatial narrative, perfectly interpreting the concept of “technology, ecology, art”, and creating a new landmark of Shenzhen’s science and technology culture.<\/span><\/div>\n
On May 1, 2025, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum officially opened.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum has four permanent exhibition halls and 950 innovative exhibition items, ranking among the top science and technology museums in China in terms of quantity.<\/span><\/div>\n
The first floor is the “Technology Film and Television Experience Zone”, which showcases the innovation of digital technology on images through time.<\/span><\/div>\n
The “Hello World!” exhibition hall on the second floor takes you into the world of digital civilization.<\/span><\/div>\n
The “Better Life” exhibition hall on the third floor will use artificial intelligence models and humanoid robots to open up new paths for digital living in transportation, communities, homes, and other areas.<\/span><\/div>\n
The fourth floor “Smart Industry” exhibition hall utilizes information technology to develop new materials, design new drugs, create smart logistics and “lighthouse factories”, showcasing the digital transformation of industrial production.<\/span><\/div>\n

The fifth floor “Exploring the Origins of the Universe” exhibition hall focuses on basic research and cutting-edge science such as the brain, genetics, astronomy, and aerospace. With the help of artificial intelligence and big data, it breaks through the spatiotemporal scale and explores the world of extreme micro and macro.<\/span><\/div>\n
The permanent exhibition hall area of the science and technology museum is 35000 square meters, with 950 innovative exhibition items, ranking among the top in the number of science and technology museums in China.<\/span><\/div>\n
