The museum’s cultural relics exhibition hall is about 230 square meters. There are 1,245 cultural relics in the collection. Among them, there are 18 national second-level cultural relics, 883 third-level cultural relics, 176 general cultural relics, and 168 cultural relics and natural specimens. The cultural relics exhibition hall carries out various thematic exhibitions and basic exhibitions of local cultural relics all year round.
“Shunchang Ancient Building Components Exhibition” exhibits the ancient building components of Shunchang. Shunchang has a large number of ancient buildings, mainly including ancient temples, Ming and Qing dwellings, ancestral halls, ancient bridges, ancient towers, ancient tombs, etc. The main exhibits are architectural components that have historical, artistic and scientific value in local vernacular architecture and combine decorative art and folk customs, including flower basket-style partitions, window lintel flower panels, Kuixing Dian Dou·Fu Lu Shou door lintel carvings, peony and vanilla dragon hangings, elephant trunk moon beams, column base piers, various window grilles, partitions, various brick carvings, as well as porcelain gutters and pottery water pigeons.
